Hi Ladies-

God works in amazing ways - one of my relatives attended the conference this weekend, and I met her at the hotel (to say hi, because she lives out of state), not knowing what the conference was about - I was simply walking through the lobby and was amazed - I received information about the purpose of the conference, met an author, was blessed with a free book, and I now I am excited to attend the conference next year - I have been praying for God to guide me and open writing and fellowship opportunities. Lord willing, I will be the first one to register!!

I am excited to connect with this ministry!

Is anyone arriving very early in the morning on Friday? I didn't sign up for the shuttle (by accident), and I just realized the cab fare is going to be nearly $40.00. Alright Ladies - I have turned in the last menu selection and we now have officially 60 early birds dining on Thursday evening.

Please don't forget to check-in with me upon your arrival at 5:30 (or later for some of you). Dinner again is $25; please have exact change to ease the process as you check-in.

How exciting that we have this time to get to know one another and encourage each one's ministry before the conference begins!

I am leaving first thing in the morning headed to Memphis; staying with my folks as they are taking me to the airport early Thursday. Happy Traveling and can't wait to meet you!!

I have an odd request. My husband and I found out on June 29th that we were expecting our second child. Because I do not produce progesterone, I have to take daily injections during the first trimester of my pregnancies. We thought my husband was going to be able to travel with me, however, something has come up and he cannot make the trip. I've tried to give myself the shot, but I just cannot do it.

So... I am wondering if there is anyone who might be willing to give me a two shots - once on Friday and then again on Saturday. It's very easy to do (except *I* cannot seem to do it) and is given in my upper hip.

Hello Ladies

I wanted to offer a quick synopsis of what She Speaks has done for me. I have been more times than I care to add up.

I have been when life was at it's all time worst. I remember telling God "No Lord, I won't even let You close to me." He gently persisted all weekend and by the end I was all but standing on my chair with arms upheld shouting "Yes Lord, Yes Lord, Yes Lord Yes!"

I was amazed that these
'professionals' shared their own needs and insecurities so sincerely from their hearts that I felt worthy of God despite my own weakness and helpless situations.

Oh yeah I have grown in His work in my life, but what He has done for me personally at She Speaks Only He Knows.

Let me tell you one thing, there were years that I was near divorce in a seriously hurting marriage and that same man is now my very best friend -Next to Jesus of course. She Speaks is a huge part of my marriage testimony.

You will make friends, you will network. You will realize God has many women there who have no idea why they are there. You will be loved and you will love. You are already being prayed for.

Hold onto your Bible gals, bring a sweater (it can be frigid in those rooms sometimes) and prepare to meet the Lord of the Universe like you never imagined.

Can't wait to see you.

We have sixty ladies that have responded!!! We have several ladies that have CHANGED THEIR PLANS to meet and "kick off" the beautiful weekend that God has in store for all of us! How wonderful is that?

Great News!!! Everyone is more than welcome to come! We will be eating in shifts. In other words, many have indicated that it may be well after 6:30 before than can arrive. So I proposed to management that no more than 50 will eat at 6:30 and the remainder will eat around 7:15 (taking seats of the previous arrivals). We are all more than welcome to stay and chat it up as there will be extra seating available. The main thing is that we are all included!

The following list is a name of people that indicated that they would like to attend but I have not received their menu selections. This is very important so if you find your name or a friend's name please contact me immediately!!

If you indicated to me early on that you would like to be in attendance but have not sent me your menu selections, please do so immediately! I am running over about ten people which I am believing will not be a problem but I am trying to be as accurate with management as early as possible to avoid any complications. Many detailed emails have been sent out and I have tried to respond to every one as best I could. This evening is shaping up quite beautifully and I do not want anyone to miss out!

I'm coming in from Winnipeg, Manitoba CANAAADDA I promise I'll try not to say EH?! so much! I see there are a few fellow Canadians from Alberta! Wow, I thought I was far until I saw South Africa!
